I’ve been there, and I know how overwhelming it can feel. This blog is here to remind you that you are not alone. You are enough, just as you are. Through support, encouragement, and practical wellness tips, I hope to help you find strength, balance, and confidence in your own journey.

Hi, I’m Desiree!

I’m a wife, a mom to two amazing kids (now an empty nester), and a proud cat mom to my two fur babies. For years, I struggled with unexplained health issues, only to recently be diagnosed with Hashimoto’s. On top of that, perimenopause, anxiety, and self-confidence struggles have all played a role in my journey. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, frustrated, and searching for answers.

That’s why I started Her Thriving Life—a space where we can have real, honest conversations about wellness, self-care, and the challenges we face as women. Here, I share what’s helped me—from managing stress and finding balance to rebuilding confidence and prioritizing health in a way that feels good. My goal is to remind you that you’re not alone, you are enough, and you have the strength to thrive.

Why I Started Her Thriving Life

The last couple of years have been incredibly difficult for me. I had to learn—sometimes the hard way—that it’s okay to reach out and ask for help when I need it. Through the love and support of my amazing husband and close friends, I’ve been able to overcome so much and am learning to thrive again.

That journey showed me just how important community, encouragement, and support are. I know what it feels like to struggle, to question if you’re enough, and to face challenges that feel impossible to get through. But I also know that we are stronger than we think, and we are capable of overcoming so much.

That’s why I created Her Thriving Life—to be a space where women can find support, encouragement, and the reminders we all need: You are not alone. You are enough. And you can do hard things.
